Environmental Impact Assessment
An Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) will be required to be submitted as part of the wind farm planning application. In order to arrive at a final wind farm design we will undertake many different studies and consult a large number of statutory and non-statutory organisations. Independent experts will study different aspects of the proposed wind farm and identify the effects on the local environment. This valuable survey information will be used to compile an Environmental Assessment of the site. The key areas of study focus on common development issues such as landscape and visual, cultural heritage, archaeology, ecology, hydrology, noise and transport. Copies of the environmental findings of the site, reported in an Environmental Statement (ES) will be made available as part of the planning application for the site.
